The Middle Branch of the Ontonagon River has been dammed by Upper Peninsula Power Company to help generate electricity for the Copper Country. This created the Bond Falls flowage above the Falls and UPPCO then developed 48 different campsites around the flowage. Word is that the flowage has great fishing and that Walleye can be caught at the back end of the flowage area.
In addition to the great campsites offered here, the prices for camping are posted at the concession stand at the entrance to the flowage area. You can walk to Bond Falls.
The local store at the corner of Bond Falls Road and M-45 in Paulding stated that the price of camping throughout the summer is also $8.
