2004 News Pertinent for Rockland Township as summarized in the Ontonagon Herald
In Rockland, the Veterans' Memorial saw completion, a project that was inspired by the Vietnam Moving Wall which had visited the community the previous summer. By September 4th, the memorial was ready for dedication. The names of contributing organizations are displayed along with the names of those of our military personnel who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in all of America's Wars.
